The Art of the Sporadic Moment

There are some things that we don’t need to do “everyday.” Some things are better left in the sporadic window of our lives.  I don’t feel the need to take pictures in front of a mural everyday.

I do, however, want to take pictures in front of a mural, sporadically.

So, there is this mural that I sort of pass everyday on my way home from work.  I have tried for months to get a quick car shot of it with no such luck.

Today, though, I felt like it was going happen. The weather was somewhat nice (even though it was trying to rain) and we had just finished with Kayla’s ballet class.

It was on the way to the used bookstore as well so I wasn’t even going out of my way. Let me tell you, I felt silly and cool and artistic and free.

In case you were wondering, I am still on track with my rollover goals. Today I started reading Gone Girl and have stayed consistent with my savings plan. February is Save 2% income month and I have totally done it!
